A Poem for Six A.M

Six is sick
Should be sleeping
Instead,
Changing, eating, brushing
A miserable time of day.

Seven is simple
Sitting on the bus
Socializing with friends
Simple.

Eight is educational.
Start of learning
To early to be learning.
Half asleep.

Nine is Fine
Eat a snack
Learn some math.
Want a nap.

Ten is Twisted.
Lots of learning
Still learning
Keep on learning.

Eleven is excellent
Eat lunch
Talk with friends
Excellent time of day.

Twelve is thrilling
I'm full of energy
Full of laughter
Just plain thrilling.

One is Original
Back to class
Almost done
Waiting for the day to be done,

Two is Terrific
School is done!
The bus is fun!
The blissful Sun!

Three, I'm Free
Free of school,
Free of  work,
Nap time.

Four's a bore.
Lonely and bored
Tired of homework
Bored.

Five is Faboulous
Food is fine
Friends are online
Not it's time,
For homework...

Six is sleepy,
Sleepy from school,
Sleepy from homework,
Time for TV

Seven is Special
Family time
Bonding with them
I love my family

Eight is great
Cuddled on the couch
Reading and TV-ing
Resting with the pup.

Nine is Nasty,
Need for a shower

#22- 200 Words about my first toy.

I was born in October 23^rd, 1996. One of my first toys was a stuffed bunny rabbit that my Baba gave to me for my first Easter. I loved her and brought her everywhere with me. I even came up with a very unique name for her, Rabbit. When I was about 4, I brought her to a restaurant with me when we went out to dinner. I ended up leaving her there. The next morning, I woke up crying and my dad had to go back and luckily, she was still there. I have also left her at Gade’s Farms once when I was pulling around a wagon and Rabbit was in it also. The wagon hit a bump and she bounced out. I realized that night that I had lost her and I made my mom go back. Yet again, I was lucky we found her. Rabbit had to be re-sewn and patched together again with fabric. Just last month, my new dog got a hold of her. My dog ate off her nose and with lots and lots of crazy glue, she is put back together again. I still have my Rabbit today and I hopefully will forever.

My grandmother grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her and her sister Lorraine went to a private religious school. In the summer of 2011, my cousin and I went to Minnesota to visit Loraine who still lives there. My grandma and Lorraine took us down their childhood memory lane and showed us the school and the church that they went to. The church was bigger then most. The walls of the church were lined with stained glass. The sun lit up the room in beautiful shades of colors like blues, greens and reds. That is the church where both Lorraine and my grandma got married. This picture of the stained glass reminds me of my trip to Minnesota and that is a trip that i never want to forget.

When I got this fortune, I truly had NO idea what longevity meant. Now I know that longevity means you a long life. Then my mind was racing with thoughts.  I will live a long life? How long is long? Will I live to see my grand children? How about my great-grandchildren? This fortune made me think about my future life.  I would love to live a long life. Living a long life would be wonderful but the bad thing is that I will have to see all of the people I care about die before I do.  One of my biggest fears is death. I never want to die.

Nicole is my older cousin. Nicole is 17 years old lives in Niskayuna. Niskayuna is in New York and it is only about 15 minutes away from my house. Nobody in my family (besides my parents) know me better then Nicole does. Nicole has two sisters but i am an only child. Nicole is the sister that i never had but have always wanted. Now that we are older, we do everything together. Next year we want to go on vacation together because last year i went with my other cousin Kayla. Never in my life have I been away from her for a long period of time. Next year she is going off to college in North Carolina. North Carolina is really far away so i am going to miss her a lot. Nicole is my family, but she is also my best friend.
